At the start of this year, most people did not know any big AI labs from China. Now, at the end of 2025, many people know names like DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi
More and more new AI ideas are now coming from China. Next year, we may also hear a lot about Z.ai, Meituan, or Ant Ling. Some of these companies started working on big AI models only after DeepSeek, but they reached a high level in just about six months.
