CES 2025 notes
CES 2025 seems to have a great start in LAS VEGAS. Very strong announcements from NVIDIA.

NVIDIA
GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs
NVIDIA introduced the GeForce RTX 50 Series, powered by the new Blackwell architecture. These GPUs feature DLSS 4 technology, which utilizes AI-driven multi-frame generation to enhance rendering performance. The flagship RTX 5090 is priced at $1,999, while the RTX 5070 is set at $549. RTX 50 Series laptops are expected to be available in March, with prices ranging from $1,299 to $2,899.
NVIDIA Cosmos Platform
The company launched NVIDIA Cosmos, a computing platform designed to accelerate the development of physical AI. Cosmos enables the use of synthetic data to train autonomous systems, facilitating the creation of next-generation autonomous vehicles and robots. Uber is among the early adopters of this platform.
Agentic AI Blueprints
NVIDIA introduced agentic AI blueprints aimed at automating tasks within enterprises. These blueprints allow developers to build and deploy custom AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and taking action, thereby streamlining complex problem-solving and automating repetitive tasks.
Partnerships in Autonomous Vehicles
The company announced collaborations with Toyota, Aurora, and Continental to develop next-generation vehicle fleets utilizing NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and AI technologies. Toyota plans to build its upcoming vehicles on the NVIDIA Drive AGX Orin system-on-a-chip, running the NVIDIA DriveOS operating system.
Project Digits
NVIDIA unveiled Project Digits, a high-end personal computer designed for AI researchers and enthusiasts. Powered by the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip and running the Linux-based NVIDIA DGX operating system, this desktop supercomputer is capable of running large language models with up to 200 billion parameters. Priced starting at $3,000, it is expected to be available in May.
